This advert has just started showing here in the UK... absolutely fantastic! Whoever's designing Cadbury's recent marketing campaign is totally worth every penny.
Best 1:01minutes of entertainment!!

Well... it's been a while since I've written anything here. Let's just say the Emo reigns supreme at the moment. ;)
However Flist, I need your help. :) *nods*
I have 5 days holiday left for this holiday year, which allows me to take a pretty long holiday (if you include weekends). So, suggestions anyone? Anywhere in particular you'd like to see vicariously through me? :D I have the urge to go somewhere, do something, see something...
So you can be a wild as you like with your suggestions... but I may poohpooh your idea if it's too wild. :P
Stipulations: - My holiday must be taken by the end of Feb 09. - The world is broke, and so am I; so bear that in mind.
Go crazy. :D

After I saw The OHoB serenenuit's result I had to do this. I'm pleasantly surprised, hee... It's funny how all my LJ friends got someone different as their answer...
Your result for The Harry Potter Husband Test... Mrs. Bill WeasleyYour perfect HP man is Bill Weasley.
You like guys who are cool. And not cool in that fake, dicky way, but actually cool. He's so cool that they couldn't find any actor to adequately portray him, so they decided to just leave him out of the movies rather than risk not doing justice to his coolness. He's like the Chuck Norris of Harry Potter: plain freaking awesome. When Voldemort says "You-Know-Who", he's talking about Bill Weasley. Take The Harry Potter Husband Test at HelloQuizzy

I have to post about this..
Holland have been my second International team ever since Dennis Bergkamp joined Arsenal way back in 1995/96. My support of them has never been whole-hearted because England were always around, but now...
OMFGosh... their last two games have been fantastic. Meg have you been watching this??!! I have a sore throat just from screaming at the tv, lol. They kicked the crap out of Italy and now France; I love it. This is the best football I've watched in a long time. These games are all the evidence anyone needs to see why they should love football.
Come on ORANJE!!!!!!

Well not depressed... just down.
The year thus far has not been a good one and thankfully we're almost half way through it; talk about wish time away. But I pray 2009 is better than this one.
So far I've lost a 'best friend', a boyfriend, a kind of brother in law, a friend to Australia, a sister, who rarely lives at home anymore, and a job. The only positive aspect of this year so far is finding a new, better paid job. But I'd gladly give that job up to have all those people in my life again.
Yes... I'm wallowing, how could you tell? Almost another year older and I'm sure I'm wiser but it doesn't get any easier, does it? ;)

**This was supposed to be written on the 22nd, I just didn't get round to doing so, and so I begin...
We don't actually get snow days in London, of course, but then London rarely gets snow as it is. But exactly one year later, to the day, and it snowed again! Whoo Hoo!!

Wow... I'm only updating now... 2008 is already in February. : \ I hope everyone had a good new year, and that 2008 is treating you fairly well.
* So, so far this year... I may be possibly made redundant, so the hunt for a new job is on. What I want to do, I have no idea. *shakes head*
* I bought myself a Nintendo DS. I rarely buy myself anything 'big' like that, in terms of money; I'm still a touch in shock that I spent that amount of money.
* A friend gave me a voucher for three months free unlimited dvd rental's, so I'm finally doing that. I've watched Inside Man (meh), and started catching up on Series 9 of Stargate SG1... love that programme. (Michael Shanks... *drools*) So what I'm asking of you, dear flist, is if you could recommend me some good films. Anything! I have three months after all, and I'm on my third dvd in less than 10 days, hee.
* What else... *thinks*... Arsenal are top of the table again!! Whooo!!!
Can't think of anything else as of yet... going to watch another film. *puts in V For Vendetta*
